Rick Howell, Universal’s CEO and the sole owner of the company, grew up working at Universal, which initially provided insulation services to the pulp and paper industry. Under his leadership, Universal has broadened its market presence to include the steel, cement, chemical processing, and power industries while expanding its service offerings to include insulation maintenance, roofing/siding, and painting.
We are proud to have a history of good relationships with our vendors, banking institutions, insurance brokers, accounting firms and business associates. Our balance sheet is strong and we maintain a substantial line of credit and bonding capacity to finance multiple large projects. We are listed by Dun & Bradstreet, Duns Number 60-250-3971.
